My daughter wasof averasge height and weight at birth (7lbs 4oz, 20 inches) and hit 12lbs by two months. She is six months, as of today, and has not gained a single pound in four months. She also has only grown half an inch. We don't know why. She's currently in the third percentile in both height and weight. The doctor is having her come in next moth to see if she gaines any (we just moved and this was the first time she saw my dughter, she wants to see the lack of growth herself). Please pray all is okay and my daughter will be fine. Elizabeth is a jewel and we just can't imagine her having serious medica issues. Thank you.

Saying prayers for you and your sweet baby girl.

Just FYI -- my little girl is a small one.  She is 2 and half and only weighs 23 lbs or so.  She perfectly healthy, just small.  But I can see your concern since she hasn't gained any weight in 4 months.  Praying that you figure out answers!

I'm sorry it took so long to update.  Elizabeth gained 2oz in mid December.  It took 5 months to gain those 2oz so the doctor ordered a whole line of test, all of which came back normal!  God is so great!  She has actually started to "thicken up" a bit since then and has another weigh-in with the doctor on Monday.  I told my husband that she just needed the doctor to tell her it was okay to gain weight.
