My 5 year old bipolar child is on all these drugs!! I am really upset now that a fourth drug has been added. I am getting her behavioral and play therapy as well. She is exhibiting hypersexual behaviors again, which are common in bipolar. It is extremely disturbing. I have scheduled therapy for myself because of all this.

I am thinking of getting her tested for allergies. Can anyone tell me where to get this done? My son got tested for allergies a while back. Can I take her there or does it have to be a certain type of allergy testing?

Thanks for any and all info or advice.

I reccomend that you see an allergist. However, your family dr can order the tests also.

RAST Testing
Food Allergy Panel
IgG and IgE antibodies

The IgG is the most important. This one will tell if there is a sensitivity or intolerance. This is what told us which foods our son was sensitive to.

The IgE Food Allergy Panel only showed that he had no allergies.
