Topic:      Restore funding for community MENTAL HEALTH and DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED
SERVICES in the State of Illinois FY10 budget

Date:

As a constituent and voter in your district, I am asking that you act to fully reinstate funds to mental health and developmental disability services in Illinois.

These services are vital to the health and well being of the more than 9,000 individuals served at Mental Health Centers of Central Illinois - and hundreds of thousands of individuals in need of care throughout the state. If these services are drastically reduced or eliminated because of funding cuts, those with mental illness and developmental disabilities will have nowhere else to turn. The cost in human misery and the cost in dollars to our community and the state of Illinois will be profound.

As a voter and constituent in your district, I am asking you to do the right thing to help people in need – fully reinstate funding for mental health and developmental disability services!

Sincerely,

From:
