Ok Moms,
I think we all know how stir crazy our kids can go during summer break. Especially after all the summer schools and VBS are over.
Does anyone have any ideas to share with each other that will help us all have a fun, less stressful summer?????
Post your ideas, share your ideas gone wrong and VENT,VENT, VENT!!!!!!!!!!!!

How old are your kiddo's? What r there interests. Keeping everyone active is a full-time job. When mine were younger, we tried some theme weeks that were fairly successful. It was a summer olympic year so we each picked a country to support. We would learn the names of the athletes from that country, did some internet research to find geographic info, flag, language, etc. At the end of the week, we sponsored our own mini-olympics with games everyone could play. The games don't even have to be physical. Let everyone choose a game to play. If the kids like to cook, you can try some new recipes.
I think anytime you find something that gets kids to be creative, you will find they enjoy themselves.
good luck
