Hi my name is Jessie-Rae. My husband is in the Marine Corps and we just got stationed here in Twentynine Palms from Qunatico Virgina. We are living off base in Yucca Valley. We have two wonderful children Travis who just turned three. Also Kylee who is turning two here soon. I don't know anyone here in CA so I would love to meet some new friends and have playdates. Also I am so up for any advice anyone has for this area. Places to shop, sights to see ect.

Hey Jessie-Rae! Im Stephanie, I have an 18 month boy, and I am currently pregnant with our second! There isnt much to do around here, you basically have to go to palm springs for anything fun, or for any real shopping! I would love to maybe get our kids together sometime for a play date! hi my name is Cristina i have a little 3yr old boy named angel and im also a usmc wife (like half of the people out here lol) my family and i just moved here from virginia aswell but we were in yorktown close to virginia beach...but yeah its hard to meet people out here especialy since evryones got their our thing going on and all...but if u evr wana chat or hang out just let me know im always up for meeting new people =)

Hi! I'm Courtney. =) I'm a Marine Wife as well. =-) I don't have a little one old enough for yours to play with but I do have a son.. There really isn't much shopping to do around here but, the Joshua Tree Ntl. Park is def. something to see! Like some of the other posters said, you pretty much have to go to Palm Springs to do any shopping or anything like that. Vegas is only like three hours away though so, that's a plus if you want to go there.. Oh! And the absolute BEST place that I've eaten out there would HAVE to be the resturant at the 29 Palms Inn. (Oh! They have an old school house on the way to the in too! It's pretty neat!)
