I have suffered from anxiety for the last 12 years. I have saught treatment on and off. I find that every doc I go to says I'm deppressed. I say nope. Not depressed. Anxious. They always want to put me on an antidepressant ...... I take them. They don't help. I have serious panic attacks......over nothing. I sweat like crazy, get horrible pains behind my ears, and sometimes feel like I might pass out. I know I suffer from anxiety. It was triggered for me when my Mom died when I was 16. Its never gone away. Some days are better than others. Its getting worse tho. The other day I started to have an attack speaking to my daughters kindergarten class. We were playing a game. I've found I'm losing control of it more and more. I don't have a regular doc. I've been calling trying to get appointments to no avail. The last place I called transfered me 4 times and then when I finally got thru it was a vm of a lady saying shed call me back in 48 hrs and if I could wait 48 hrs to call 911. Lol WTF am I honna do call 911 and tell them I need a xanex?! Lol
That's the thing. Im sure that's what I need. But I don't want to say that to the doc. That makes me sound like some sort of drug addict. And I'm not. I'm a panicy rage fill women that's in serious need of a chill pill before this anxiety makes me lose my mind!
Its hard for me to ask for help. I'm finally trying and getting no where. And Im afraid it will be like every other time and they'll say I'm fu king deppressed. WHICH IM NOT

Have you seen a therapist?  If you haven't, that's what I would do.  It should be clear to a doctor that when you tell them you feel like you are jumping out of your skin, that you have anxiety.  The last time I had a what I like to call for me "freak out", I saw the doctor the same day, a family doctor that I had never seen.  I was talking fast, couldn't stop moving, described my situation and she gave me enough xanax for 3 people for a month!  And she switched my antidepressant.  But you need to be evaluated by someone who knows what to ask and will listen to you so you can get something that works for you.

I didn't know what a panic or anxiety attack was until July of last year. I am 36 years old. I found out my baby died that I was carrying had been dead in me for a month, my mom went through 3 surgeries and cancer, my daughter packed her bags at 18 two weeks after I lost my baby, and the events that followed I cannot share here. It was one bell of a year. I became pregnant immediately in July which brought on more attacks. My husband had to call 911 with my first attack, I thought I was dying! Doc put me on Celexa and Xanax. I don't even take advil for headaches!! I took a Xanax and pooped in my pants and had to go to the ER again!! Didn't know I was pregnant again at this point. Got off Xanax and Celexa until December. I almost had a nervous breakdown. I called my doc and he put me on 10 mg of Celexa. The first couple of weeks was rough. I wasn't depressed really either just having bad attacks. I would shake for an hour at a time. I have not had a panic attack in over a month. Have you tried those? They saved me and my baby's life. ((HUG))

I take celexa as well and it works really well for me and i have xanax for emergencies. I have a friend who takes Zoloft and it wasn't helping enough, so he just put her on Effexor also. Try to find a doctor to go to. I would check with an office that has multiple docs in it, maybe you can get into one sooner or see a PA. Otherwise, maybe try some counseling, that has helped me quite a bit in the past. I hope you are feeling better soon!! ((((hugs))))
