update on 50mg zoloft

I have been doing great on zoloft except I have been having unusual bruises. That have no reason to be there. Anyone experience this on zoloft or any ssri?

I have! Zoloft caused me to become anemic so I bruised at the slightest things.

I found 2 more bruises today. Did you dr take you off zoloft when that happened?

No just had me take an iron supplement

I'm up to 150mg and the only side effects I've had are persistent diarrhea and rapid weight loss. It got better with time though. Each time my dose was increased it happened for about a month.

Every time my dose is increased I get a brand new side effect :-/ its strange because first was nausia, then increased anxiety, insomnia and now bruising.

Yea I started on 25, then after a month went to 50, then another month later went to 100 and about 6 weeks later went to 150. Each time it was the same. The doctor warned me that it would probably cause stomach issues bc the majority of the medication stays in your stomach and doesn't get in your blood to your brain. Plus side, I can fit into some old clothes I had gotten too big for lol.
