I use to, but they all backstabbed me. So i'm back to square 1 in the friendship dept.

Yeah I have a best friend.

She was there waiting the day I was born. Her mother is my mother's bff and her grandmother is my grandmothers bff and guess what .... her great-grandmother was my great-grandmothers bff. No I am not kidding. It is destiny.

Her name is Nicky. She remembers when she saw me through the glass in the hospital window. Her mother (the nurse) was holding me up. When things got real bad with my mom who is mentally ill we had to live with them. Even when I got given to my other grandmother we stayed connected. Nothing could stop us.

She was standing on one side of me as I delivered my children. I stood by her as she had hers. We sit in the park together and the library as they play happily. They are bff's of course. Her girls and my girls. Sigh. We made a vow that one day we will be two old ladies knitting on the porch of this big old house. We will die on the same day at the same time.

We are not just bff's but we are soul sisters.

 didn't it seem easier the first go round and now married/in relationship and kids later. It just seems so harder.

 No I do not have a BFF, someone who I thought I knew her " we have been friend for couple years".. turn out I do not know her that well. So heside my hubby, I do not have any BFF, or someone who could be there for me.

 I do, although I hate that term "BFF".  We have been friends since I was 15.  She's like the sister I never had.  Problem is she now lives a thousand miles away and I only see her once a year or less.

We are there for oneanother understand what we both are going through, with having kids with special needs its really hard to have friend that dont have one to understand what it is like. ITs just not that, she is just an all around nice person to talk to....

Can you depend on them?
Yes, She is there when i need her, and im the same for her.
