I just watched Shutter Island for the first time ever the other day, I thought it was a pretty cool movie and it was pretty trippy too. Here's the official trailer to get a better idea of what I'm talking about.
I will admit, it didn't look like something that would catch my interest when I first saw the trailer and the movie itself didn't really catch me in the beginning. I watched the whole thing though and ended up really liking it, still didn't make it to one of my faves, but it's definitely a movie I wouldn't mind watching a couple times now and again.
Anyway, the ending brings up a great question and, in my opinion, not just regarding mental patients, murderers, evil people but in general.
So, what's your thought? Is it better to die a hero or live as a monster?

I have to say I saw this but couldnt make it through the movie
