Group Guidelines/Participation Tips
Be courteous, limit spam (misleading advertising will be deleted, multiple advertising will be deleted ~this includes bumping your own posts that are advertising or looking for referrals~ if making a post from your blog or vested interest site then please provide the whole post. Teaser posts made only to direct traffic to a post or article somewhere else without providing the entire post info in the post in this group will be deleted.) Otherwise use common sense.
On bumping vested interest threads- the first time a member does this I will delete the bump post then bump the posts in the group until the post bumped for vested interest is no longer on the front of the page. This is to give benefit of the doubt and still allow for a legitimate post reply in the thread. The next time this is done by the same member I will post the guidelines in their thread, then lock it, then bump the posts in the group back up until the thread is off the main page. Any fruther repeats will mean the thread is deleted all together. So you are much better off not bumping your own vested interest threads and instead waiting til another member posts in it.
These rules are very simple and mostly common sense because I don't want this group to have too many restrictions and being courteous should cover how we treat each other. None of the these rules are meant to make your membership harder, but simply to protect the quality of the group. Posting advertisements and blog posts are fine, but not at the expense of the quality of the group's posts/threads. I want us to be able to share and get help and post tips in the group and have discussions. Helpful sites, even vested interest ones have their place (so feel free to post the sites that have helped you out and to try and get referrals from them), but I don't want that to be all the group is about.
