Hi all. I am Emily. I am a sahm to 2kids ages 15 and 8. My dd is in the 10th grade and I took her out of Public school 2 weeks ago.  She has a lot of health issues and missed 29 days of school so far this year and was going to have to repeat her 10th grade year.  The school wasn't being very helpful in trying to get her caught up.  I got fed up with all the baloney and took her out. we are going to start homeschooling as soon as her curriculum arrives.  I ordered the Christian Light Education Curriculum. I am very excited about it and so is DD.  For now, I am leaving DS in public school.  DD and I are kind of nervous about Homeschooling. I think it will be a good fit for us though. Can't wait to get to know some other hsers. Oh and I am in Oklahoma.
