I am in Northeast Oklahoma. Is there any OK homeschoolers on this board?

Not yet, but I will be in about a year. My dh is in the military and when he gets back from Korea we will be moving to OKC. Tina

Tina, where are you at now? Have you checked in to the laws for hsing in OK? They are very lenient. You don't have to report to any one. All you have to do is make sure they get 23 credits and be learning ( key word ) for 180 days out of the year. I couldn't believe it when I started checking in to it.

I live in North Dakota right now. The laws here are very strict, so I am very happy to move to another state that is much more hs friendly.

Do either of you belong to a homeschool group? i belong to one online, but I don't know if they have graduation or prom. I'd kind of like for him to have the graduation ceremony, don't really care about prom, but he probably does. I wonder if we can just go through the local high school also. Thanks Tina
