The woman always does. But the right kind of woman gets her man thinking he does, even though deep down they both KNOW ;)

Making him think that things are his idea is definately an art to be mastered! It takes a lot of effort, but in the end, it's both more effecive and nicer than being "bossy".

I let my younger husband wear the pants - however - we are partners so this works well.

 For us it's more of a balance.  There are some things he does and other things I do.  So far it's worked out great!

This is exactly my household as well.

My hub is an over the road trucker so when he's not home, I wear the pants but when he's home he does.  But I do all the bills, handle the money and pretty much run the household. As far as discipline for the kids that's where it can get sticky with us.  I'm much more laid back and easy going than my hub is when it comes to the girls.
