Hi,
I am newly married . I have 12 kids from my first marriage and my new husband has 5 of his own. We currently have 12 kids at home, ranging from 17 yrs to 5. As you can imagine, we are a bit overwhelmed with all the adjustments.
All of my kids love my new husband. His kids, for the most part, are unhappy with me in their lives. I understand this. Their Mom left them. They have been making it with just Dad in a "Bach" home for a few years. I moved seven kids into their home. However, the stress is bringing me down. How can I cope better with all the rejections and put downs.? I am a believe for 26 yrs. Is anyone out there doing what I am doing . I would love to have someone to relate to, as I am in a new community also. Please remember to pray for me and my awesome new husband. Thanks, MomHas17
Sorry I can't help you more, prayer is power though..
Sherry..

Hey, Thanks for the reply! God is good and a reminder to pray is often what we need.
I am doing well . I have my great days and my down days. It is great that my husband is understanding and prayerful. He is very encouraging !! Thanks for your prayers and time. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!!!

I will pray for you and your husband and for all of your kids. I have 3 DDs of my own and one SD and I thought I had my hands full! wow!
How are your kids and his kids getting along?
Yes God is good! I will pray that your step kids will appreciate the love in your heart and that He will open their hearts to you.
Hi thanks so much for praying for us!! You asked how my kids are getting along with his kids. I'd say overall very well. There are a few rough places, but really no more than normal siblings have. My main one would be with the two 17 yr old boys. My son is really tired of his new brothers life style and rudeness toward me. But God uses all things for our growth and for His glory!
How about you? Do all four girls blend well? What ages are you dealing with?
Thanks for your reply!

WOW! You have your hands full! God will give you the strength you need. Love those kids. I'm sure they are struggling with issues after having their mom leave them. Show them you love them, but also won't tolerate any disrespect either.
