So, I am new to making my own baby food and bought the food processor, the baby friendly ice cube trays w/ lids etc, etc. Took a night and made 4 diff foods for the week including banannas. But, they turned dark brown in the freezer and now I'm not sure if I should use them....??? Any info on banannas like there is for the avacodos and such would be great! Anyone????
#2; what do u all use to thin out ur foods before storing them or do u thin them out after you thaw them prior to feeding? Any help would be so appreciated! Thanks!

I usually just mash fresh bananas with a fork and give them to my son right away, so I'm not sure about freezing them. I would think they would be ok though. If you are interested I just started a blog with recipes for different baby food, I would also love your input on recipes you might have!

bananas always turn dark with the cold but they are perfectly fine, my son eats bananas but just cute up or pureed with oatmeal or rice and some formula, he loves it
