Homemade gerber graduates?

Hi All,

So far I haven't really made my children any babyfood...but my youngest is 9 months old and doesn't really like baby food anymore. I'd like to start her on something like the gerber graduates, but I'd prefer if I could make it myself for health reasons as well as economic reasons. I saw the little diced apples and carrots at the store yesterday. It seems as though they are cooked enough so the baby can mash them with her gums & what few teeth she has (hehehe). Can someone direct me to a previous thread or an article, or perhaps just share a recipe with me for making this types of meals for my baby? Thank you so much!

God Bless,
Ashley

you can take a whole apple core it, put butter in the core, bake it at 375 F till soft, cut it up in small bits and let her have at it
