I am having trouble with meat. Does anyone know a good way to prepare it? I keep getting it too grainy. Ok, I've only tried chicken so far, but haven't had much luck.

How are you cooking it? We tried in a frying pan, chicken too.... And it turned out well... My husband just cooked it on a really low temp for a longer period of time... Then since we don't have a food processor we used our coffee grinder or the hand crank food mill.... We're just testing things now since my son is only eating sweet potatoes and bananas with cereal.... GOOD LUCK! Have you given your child only homemade food?

I never cooked just meat for Nicholas. I would just puree what we were eating... Chicken and Noodle soup was his fav.

I had the same problem, then I figured out if you add a little water it will actually make a pretty good puree rathern than a grainy mass. :)

I steam chicken and fish with veggies (carrots, potatoes, red peppers, etc) and puree the mixture with water from the steaming pot. You can even add a little no salt seasoning like Spike or herbs. Super easy and delicious.

I tried turkey. It didn't work too well and he didn't like it.
