HI
MAY BE WE CAN GET SOME SORT OF TALK GOING
The only way to get some talk going is to start talkin.
I'm glad I found this group. There is an autoimmune group, but they mainly talk about MS. I haven't found many in there wanting to talk about RA. They are very different disorders.
I look forward to getting to know you ladies.

I am looking forward to being a member of this group. I have not found any RA Support Groups in the area where I live.
I looked at the RA Central Forum but it seemed pretty artifical with mostly two mod's sending e-mails and loads of advertisment.
Finding this group is like finding a family. I read each and every one of your post. I am thankful to have you in my life.

I guess I'm "the queen mother "of the group. I'm 58 and have had Ra for 25yrs. A lot has changed since then. There are a lot of new meds that keep you from the deformities that I have. Am looking forward to sharing problems and getting hints for dealing with this.
Will Spring ever get here?

I think I have you all beat there. I am 66 and have had RA since I was 43 but probably since I was 20 and it wasn't diagnosed. I had aches and pains but thought it was just fatigue. At 43 it hit with a vengeance and then the doctors dignoised it correctly. I feel inside like I am 18 so maybe I can't be the queen unless you count the outside then I win. lol
