of any good natural friendly OB's or Midwifes that will deliver twins? I'm not pregnant or anything but given my family's history I was just curious if anyone knew of any that would deliver twins vaginally. I have to sweet baby boys one of which I had natural in February and if I end up pregnant with twins I don't want to be thrown under the c-section rule. I want to avoid any sort of surgery at all costs and If it's not necessary don't do it.

Uh what c-section rule would that be? Because they do let you have a vaginal birth after c-section as long as you don't have any complications next time.

I know Max Crouch knows how to do a breech delivery vaginally that might help with twins.

That if you are pregnant with twins you have to have a c-section because a vaginal birth is too risky. No c-sections yet and I would like it to stay that way. lol. Is that Dr Crouch from Payson? If it is I've heard great things from him. My normal OB is Dr. Dayton and I love her but I know she doesn't do twin delivery's and I'm not sure about breech yet but I plan on asking.

When I was on the L&D floor, twins were always given a chance to come vag as long as neither were in distress. Unfortunately, many are taken C section but not b/c of a rule. Good luck!

Hmmm... I went to the New Beginnings Nurse Midwife Clinic in Orem. They are AMAZING! But I don't know about their policies regarding twins. However, they are very pro-natural birth. They certainly won't push anything but they let you decide what you want to do. If you want to go completely natural, they are open to that, but they have a OB and surgeon ready always in case there is a need. You may want to call them and see what they say. And about it being too risky... that's ridiculous. But yeah.

Oh! There is a group on here called Birth Is Natural that may be able to help you with information. I'm not actually in the group though because I have heard from a friend in real life that they can get pretty drama oriented. I probably am done having kids too. They would certainly be an amazing resource though, and I know some of them are from this area. I can see if my friend who used to be an admin(maybe she still is... don't know) can get more info for you if you'd like. A friend of hers gave birth to a baby who was breech just a few days ago. It was a planned unassisted birth. I don't think I'd ever be comfortable with the thought of not being at a hospital "just in case" and I know a lot of those women will be saying that hospitals are pretty useless if not dangerous, but I know that's totally an opinion thing and I thought I'd share in case it helps. :) PM me for info if you'd like.
