This sounds pathaticly desperate, but this whole home all day-never see an adult thing is getting OLD. I'm hoping this group will provide me with a chance to get to know people who are like me.
I'm 23, live in south utah county. I have an adorable 2 yr old daughter, who is amazing, and so funny, and a great hard working husband. We love to be outside. (yeah for warm weather!) I like lots of things...camping, hikng, photography, digital scrapbooking, blogging. I'm LDS and love living here with a great neighborhood. So, I guess I'm just looking for people to talk to.
So, tell me a little about your self.
I saw your post I almost wish I was 23 again lol. I am 30 I have 4 kids. 10, 5, 3, 1. I am loving the outside since spring break was just spent indoors due to the snow. I would love to find some sort of play group we could go to in the area or something. Any big plans for this summer?
Totally not pathetic at all! I feel the same way lol. I also live in south utah county. I am 27 and have been married for 8 years now! I have three daughters, ages 7,6, and my youngest turned 3 in March. I so so so love photography! I just got my first dslr on valentines day (nikon d60) and I try to take pictures every day to get better. Hope to hear from you soon
I, too, am in need of some adult conversation (other than with the DH of course). We just moved here in March from NC. We have no family here and the only people I know are from church (we're LDS too). I have an amazing 2 year old son and another on the way...due May 20. We live in Orem. I know that's Utah Co., but I don't know if that's southern Utah Co. I've found a website at http://www.utahcountymommies.com/index.php that is kinda similar to cafemom. However, they meet up and have chats and stuff. I went to a playgroup today and either no one showed up or I was a bit too late. That was disappointing...maybe next time. Anyway...I am looking to meet new friends and have a playmate for my son...that's about it.

Hi! I'm new to this group, and don't even know if anyone will see this as it was posted clear back in April, but Oh Well! I live in Provo, and have a 5-month-old. Love being a mom, but also need some adult interaction-besides my mother always dropping in! :) My hubby is a police officer, and we are also LDS. I just quit teaching 4th grade to be a stay-at-home mommy, and I really enjoy seeing my son change and grow each day. I love doing anything that gets me out of the house, or that connects me with others. Hope to get to know all of you as well!
