I have no actually experience with it but this type of academic acceleration makes me kind of ill in general. I don't think it's healthy or useful to the child in the long run. I would strongly suggest teaching baby sign language instead or something that really could make things run more smoothly and be useful to the parents and kids now.

I LOVE the commercial for it!  It seems so true and amazing!

BUT - if it worked wouldn't every Pre School be using it?!!  Wouldn't we hear about all the rich people who would surely be using it for their kids?!!

we got the program for our son and he did learn how to clap and some things from this but not worth the money. you have to have the kids watch it 2x per day every day and the things on the videos are the same thing you can do with flash cards..my son has learned more with other things than the videos. wouldnt reccomend this product

Also, with them recalling Baby Einstein because it can cause children to be hyper, I think theyd find the same thing with this program too.

We got it for my son as a gift, the whole package. The videos were nice, not to learn to read but to show him vocab. He did not get hyper and he learned a lot of words and did see a few, but it was just nice to learn vocab, not to actually read, I'm not about that for reading. So he likes it and we show it sometimes.

Sorry, it got crazy, let me explain again:

So we got the whole package which is not worth it. My son was 12 months old and it caught his eye and he liked it. It seems really dumb when you watch it, but he liked it and it helped him with learning vocab. I prefer a phonics approach to reading.

We also did baby signs which he loved, but he likes to watch his words, he is now almost 24 months. There are some basic songs in it and he learns to sing those. So to learn to raed, I say no, but as entertainment and to help toddlers develop vocab for speaking, it helped.
