I really like the look of lapbooks and would like to do a few on Bible Stories.  I found some great resources to use but I am at a lost how to decide to put it together.  So I was thinking if I could find a Complete Guide on here is a lapbook and here is how to put it together I may get the idea on how to make my own better.  Any website suggestions that would offer something like this.  Most of the websites i find just link you to other websites to download material but no one walks you step by step in creating it.

Thanks!

The group owner, Kickbuttmama, has a whole blog about lapbooking.  She also has some really helpful videos on there about how to put one together.  I know how you feel.  When I first started looking into lapbooking I had a hard time wrapping my mind around how to gather all the information and put it all together.  You might want to also check out homeschoolshare.com for some other really good lapbooking resources.

Yeah, kickbuttmama also has a youtube account so she has videos there too. If you just use youtube and search for lapbooks you will find a bunch!

Good luck

I checked that out but it gives pages to do but not how to put it together.  That is more what I am looking for. I was hoping to do lapbooking for bible lessons and they had some great ones but I need a step by step thing. :)

I don't want to re-type it all here, but you should check out another thread I started in this forum about a site called Hands of a Child.  It's an awesome site and I think you would find it really helpful!

Aww you ladies are so sweet! hugsMy advice to the OP is be creative. There is NO right or wrong way to assemble a lapbook. For the most part it's fitting all the little pieces where ever they fit in the file folder....lol...especially for the first few. You don't have to put them in a specific order or anything. My Youtube channel is http://www.youtube.com/user/kickbuttmama but you can totally check out some other by searching under Lapbooks. I also suggest Lapbook Lessons http://www.youtube.com/user/mcclintick02 hope these help!
