I found this book in my local library's catalog. I couldn't get the book because the building is being remodeled. So I ordered one from books-a-million, haven't got it yet. I wanted to share while I was thinking about it :)

Ooooooo I'm going to check my library. Reminds me of the Urban Homesteaders but they are on a 1/5 acre. *Sigh* wish I wasn't so city here, so I could have chickens, we eat 54 eggs a mo & it would help having bug patrol. =) BUT the big garden this year is a start & next year even better.
I recently purchased a similar book, "The Backyard Homestead". (I purchased mine from Vision Forum, But I have also seen it at Tractor Supply, and I am sure its availiable on Amazon)
We are able to do things on a bit of a larger scale, we live on a few acres in the middle of nowhere but this book has been VERY resourceful!!
We are also looking into a biodome!
