My daughter is 3, so not even really at a Pre-K level yet, but I wanted to try homeschool as early as possible to see if it's really for us. This way we will have 2 practice run years before the real deal.

So I'm looking for workbooks for the 3-4 age range. I would like FFS, but If they're at the right price, I'll take them! Thanks

Since you're doing this as a test run I'd suggest just picking up workbooks at the dollar store (Dollar Tree has lots of good stuff if you have one in your area). I'm going to use them on my DD & she'll be 4 in Nov. Hope you find what you need & have fun!

I agree with the PP.  Also wanted to add that I even bought workbooks from the Parent-Teach Store for Pre-K and they were only $2.99 each.

Target also has some good WBs in their dollar bins :)  Joann's even has some good ones, I think they are by School Zone or something...  Or there is something like letteroftheweek.com  :)

Thank you all. We have a lakeshore learning sotre here, I'll check them out and see how much they are. My dollar store has NOTHING workbook wise, just puzzles. And I did see some at Target, but they were like 10 pages long. Thanks though.

You don't need ANY workbooks!

Check out the ideas at No Time For Flash Cards

I like this quote form that page:

"Tot school is nothing more than intentionally providing your tot with age appropriate activities that are fun and engaging. By choosing specific toys and activities, we expose our tots to a variety of early learning skills. Mastery is not the goal FUN is!" ~ Carisa from www.1+1+1=1 http://1plus1plus1equals1.blogspot.com/

age 3 is very young for doing workbooks so if your DD is not interested in sitting down to complete them don't get discouraged! My DS was not the slightest bit interested in doing school work unitl he was 4. we did other things.

Thank you! I have most of these links saved in my bookmarks already. We use them a lot, but she is VERY advanced for 3. She is 3 and almost 4 months and she's on an almost 4 1/2 yr old level. So I was looking into something more challenging for her.

My son is like this. I found a great workbook by Mead at Walmart for Pre-K and you can also get some Kindergarten books, along with it. Some of the material is too easy in the pre-k book...then I just challenge him a bit with the kindergarten book, but only if I think he needs it. The book at Walmart was $5 and it has everything in it. Also, if you haven't already check out http://preschoolpalace.org

Good Luck!
