Hi everyone, I am sure everyone else is in this situation but we are homeschooling on a limited budget. I really like Lapbooking the best, my kids and I are not crazy about writing a lot... Is there a free lapbook for the apologia books? I am looking for astronomay, zoology 1, and zoology 2. Would appreciate the input! THanks Stephanie
I use Apologia but I am not aware of any free lapbooks to go with it. They have notebooking journals for around $16.99 on http://www.cbd.org/.
There's an Apologia group on yahoo groups - and the author is one of the group members and stops in regularly to answer questions. But, being that it's devoted to Apologia books, people may have more knowledge of where to get free lapbooks and materials. There is even a lot of files on there as well that people have uploaded, so you may even find something already there.
Currclick.com has lapbook materials that you have to pay for. They have free samples you can download to check them out though I believe.
You can get print a lesser by adequate version of the Notebooks on the author's webpage for the Apologia books. I've printed off the one for Astronomy and Zoology 1, and they work just fine.
http://www.jeanniefulbright.com/ Here is her homeschool webpage. It's all dedicated to her science series. :O)
I hope you find this helpful.
you can find them here http://www.knowledgeboxcentral.com/apfupr.html or you can make your own from blank lapbooking elemenets for free.
It really isn't that hard to make you own lapbook. You may want to buy or do a free one that is already laid out and planned for you (if you've never done one) to get your feet wet and see how it's done. Then you can make your own!
You cna find free templates for all sorts of mini books here http://www.homeschoolshare.com/lapbooking_resources.php
