My son is only 5 months old but I'm really thinking about home schooling him. I would start around 3-4 with ore school so that gives me time to learn about home schooling:)
Can you tell me what it means to home school, what I have to do, what qualifications I need, etc.
I live in AZ, so what is it that I need specifically for my state?

I really like being able to meet the individual needs of my kids. I like having them around! We love the flexibility it allows with us taking trips (we took off and went camping for 3 days mid-week this week).

I like the way learning is always happening and it does not always look like "school".

Check out my blog (and make sure a browse lots of homeschooling blogs! I think it is a great way to get a peek at lots of different families and how they homeschool so you can see what might work for you!)

Let the school board know that you are homeschooling him you can teach them young as birth. But let them know at 3 years old what you are doing. you can sing his abc's to him count to him and read to him try this web site KidsTV123.com

I don't think you need to tell anyone what you are doing until your child is old enough for Kindergarten, at the earliest. Right now K is still not mandatory, so you don't even need to do anything then.
