I have a son age 9 in the third grade. I have pulled him from public schools due to bullying. With that being said we are just now starting out with this homeschooling and i was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to make things a little easier and if you know of any places where materials will be cheap. Because we are doing this on a budget. Please and thank you.

Read "The Well-Trained Mind." It will give you an idea of what/how to teach (from birth through college-ready!) and is laid out in a way that makes it seem NOT overwhelming at all!

Love and Logic homeschooling parent to son K (age 3) and daughter M (age 16 months). See what we're doing at http://lincolnfreedomacademy.blogspot.com/
