 That is cute. What I wonderful idea.

I was just going to ask if lap books could be about anything. I'm looking for away to add some "fun" learning, to my kids day. If my one son could have it his way everything in school would be about wolves. He is 100% obsessed with wolves. He has some learning disorders but I have found that when I find a way to make his lesson to deal would wolves some how he will pick up the concepts faster, and is very happy to sit (on a exercise ball) and learn. I think a Lap Book might be a fun thing to do, even if we just added a little bit every week....This has me thinking.

Ok I know you put this post in a long time ago but i stumbled across it today!  I found your quote about the marchmallows and learning!  I thought it was great I copied it and put it on my computer!  haha  I will chuckle everytime I see it..  I have a son who gets distracted so easily.... I will probably picture throwing marshmallows at him at times. haha  I know this is not what you meant but I cant help picturing it! hehe THanks for the laugh!!
