i have a 8 yr old female rottie ""angel"" that is my baby i have had her since she was 8wks old ,she is a great dog . my problem is i like to put her out while i'm at work so she isnt stuck in the house all day and can go to the bathroom when she needs to she has a dog house and a 30ft cable not a cheap one but a steel cable covered with plastic like u get at lowes , and she breaks them constantly she never runs off but will come up on the deck and wait for me .how do i stop this i thougfht of getting her a pen but they are to small i dont want her confined to a cage for like 10 hrs a day that would be cruel .she broke like her 4th one today these things arnt cheap , she is a great dog and has no other faults . any ideas ???
