Rottweiler Haters

My husband and I are about to be stationed to our new base and we found out that more than 10 bases that we know of have banned Rottweilers no exception. We called the base and ask if they make any exceptions like a dangerous Dog test or even if we agreed to have him mussled when outside on the leash or not could we still live on base. They flat out said no, I cant believe this. My Husband has been to overseas and fighting for freedom and soon I will be too, but in the USA where we are suppose to be free to a certain limit, so some back office B@!$%  has the right to tell me i dont have the freedom of being a dog owner. How can people be so stupid? So now we have to either rent a house off base or buy a house. I am afraid that rental places will discriminate my baby. Getting rid of Boog is not a option, he's a big part of our family. Boog brought me my ring when my Husband proposed to me and when my husband was deployed we had two guys try to break in my house and he took care of them. Plus our one year old son and him best friends, they share food, laughs and naps together.

Just venting I cant stand the Rottweiler haters out there. frustrated

That is just awful! I can't believe that they are doing that. Shows you that they don't know much about the Rottie breed.
Good luck with finding a place! I hope it works out...I wouldn't get rid of him either!
