Hey ladies... We are stationed in Okinawa, Japan (Marines). I want to put together a fundrasier for the NICU here...I want to get some products and put together "care packages" for the families (baby wash/lotion/oil, pacis, caps, socks, blankets, clothes, diapers, unscented wipes, bottles, etc)...I have an amazing photographer who is going to donate her services to the families, too! And I am going to have a "holiday meal" for the staff (I plan on having all this done by Christmas, to brighten the holidays a little)...
If anyone would like to make a donation of products, or if you'd just like to send a card for the staff or families, please PM me and I'll give you our mailing address :) I know nothing can make the holidays wonderful when your baby is in the NICU, but I want to help brighten the holidays a bit.

So an update for those who'd like to know...I have 2 photographers offering free sessions and products to the families in the NICU at Christmas, some hand-embroidered blankets for the babies being made, each family will get an "inspirational" handmade necklace, a caterer, 4 bakers (each doing different products), and a diaper cake for each family. I haven't had many individuals donating items, but with all the things being donated from the businesses around here, I think I can gather up the supplies for the baskets myself :)
