Ok here is one of my issues...lol.

My daughter turned 3 in June...she's very impulsive, hyper, doctors have said VERY ADHD...but never no clear diagnosis. They referred her to a psychologist but she won't be getting in for another month. The ped seems VERY concerned. However, it doesn't seem like they work fast enough (or maybe that's my opinion). She don't sleep (barely). She's starting to be more "mean" with others, one being her brother. She's not learning quite how I think she should and what not. They released her from early intervention at the age of 2 because she was doing well. But, not my IEP who works with my son has also noticed my daughters behavior. She seems to think she would qualify right away and be able to do head start with a special needs diagnosis...I'm just wondering if any of you struggle with this or have any suggestions...she needs help, I can't even clearly express this. I've looked into play therapy but that seems to only work well for traumatized children (and Maddy has only had a few surgeries). Just was wondering if anyone had any suggestions that would help me. Thanks ahead for answering...

You posted this a long time ago.  What is happening?  Were you able to get the IEP & services?
