Children with Special Needs

First things first, we are all mothers of special needs children. We have all seen and felt incredible pain and joy in our lives and have hopes and dreams for our children. We all need support which is why we joined this group.

The biggest guideline is to be supportive. Please do not be rude or 'bash' other members of the group. If you have an issue with someone, do your best to be respectful and polite, as we teach our children to be. A good rule to go by is: If you wouldn't say it in person (or in front of your child), then don't say it on the board!

The next guideline has to do with religion. Some of us are religious, some of us are not. This is not a religious group - it is a special needs group. If you would like to ask for prayers, meditation, good thoughts, etc., you may do that. Please do not offer to do it for someone else unless you are first asked by them, and please keep it in the proper forum (Spirituality).
Also, please do not post religious articles, stories or poetry outside the appropriate forum (Spirituality).

Please do not advertise your business here. If you are privately contacted by another member you may discuss it through private messaging. Do not contact other members to send advertisements, or you risk being removed from the group.
