I cant think of any way else to make it better ..i think that moms in general don't have much time to devote to bird watching, the young ones anyways, us older moms and granmas do...i wish i had a better camera to take pics of birds better, well maybe one day.
Thank you very much for your compliment; I appreciate it! It feels good to know I'm doing somewhat of a good job running the group! And with your help it makes it easier!
Well I am an old mom and grandma, but, when I was a "young mom" I still had time to walk my boys to the lake, take them to the park, or just walk them around the block I always carried my camera (at that time was a Kodak instamatic) and always shot pictures of either them, flowers, birds anything is interesting. The boys learned also about birds, flowers, and to appreciate nature. So being a young mother is not an excuse for not taking pictures (remember they are only babies once capture it, the grow up fast). So ladies how about it take the kids/grand kids to the park and enjoy the day with them playing or birds. and lets see them posts.
Great idea! I say always carry your camera with you when can and definitely get your kids involved with nature. It DOES teach them to appreciate the little things in life.
Good idea ladies and don't underestimate their ability too take good pics too. My little Godchild Stormee started taking great shots when she was 3 and i know other kids who do a good job.
