I posted this in my Virginia Group, http://www.cafemom.com/group/virginia But I thought I would post it here too.... I do not like the picture of myself - I look smug! I am here with my two youngest boys and My niece and nephew. I love them!
We went to W.O. Riley Park today located in Woodstock Virginia!
reason Why I love this park, is that the playground area is very "fort" like, not just a few playground equipment put together. There are several covered picnic areas that can accomadate large parties!
The pool is also close - It's right behind the the playground area. There's also a Tennis and Basketball courts and a Volleyball net. This Playground was built by local residents in the 1990's - The park is clean and is well maintained! How beautiful this is!
We love to visit the pool that opens up after Memorial day! The pool has a great diving area, a kiddie pool and a area that has a colorful "mushroom" fountain with the water sloping from shallow to about three feet then it bends into the deeper area. At the far end there is a diving board! Great fun for everyone! Perfect for parents with kids of all ages!
