I am tired of finding new things to worry about, does it get easier??? My son is almost 19 months and my first concern was that he wasn't walking or talking at 15 months. We found out that he had low muscle tone, got him some SMO's and now he can walk, so happy about that!

Then we had the diarrhea start and still have no answers for that, but while researching into his tummy troubles we found out he has an immune deficiency(IgA, no treatment). In the last couple of weeks the diarrhea has gotten worse and he is starting to lose weight and will barely eat.

He went in this week and his pediatrition found  a hernia and we get to see a surgeon about that next week.  I am so tired, so worried, so tired of being worried and that he can't even tell me how he feels just adds to it all.

How do you guys handle it all? I have never had to go through so much in my life that he has in his, it makes me so mad. Sorry, felt a need to rant, so stressed!!

I don't know if you are a religious person at all, but after almost 2 years of dealing with all of it, I have let it all go to God.  That's how I deal with it.  We, as parents, can do so much for our babies, but ultimately, it isn't we who have the road map, KWIM?

My son had bilateral hernia surgery at 9 months, and it was rough, but he did fine.  I've heard that as they get older, the recovery is a LOT easier!  And for sure, I hope they can figure out his tummy issues - that's terrible!

Big (((((((((HUGS))))))))) to you and your little one.
