sudden breakthroughs?

my son had a breakthough this week. he no longer gives me problems while brushing his teeth, getting his hair brushed and putting on his coat. this all happned suddenly on tueday morning and he has been keeping up with it. also he doesnt cry and scream anymore when i hand him over to his one on one aide at school.this is somethinghe has done since september 2009 when he started attending his program.  he just takes her hand and says ok, bye mommy, gives me a kiss and hes gone!! i walked out of the school on tuesday morning smiling and crying at the same time.has your child had any sudden breakthroughs that came out of nowhere?

Your little boy is growing up. That's great he's learning to deal with those things. I remember my son screaming at the bath for so long then one day it was all fun and play.

Yes, my son has little breakthroughs like that alot. The teachers and therapists and i always joke about it when the little break throughs happen. They always ask If i have switched him with another boy and i laugh and say no. He is growing up and finally showing ya'll what he has shown me in the last 5 yrs.
