New to the group--just found out my 7 month old is delayed

Hey guys!  I'm Chelsea and I'm new to the group.  I'm the proud mommy to two little boys--Jason (20 months) and Riley (7 months).  Riley is my baby with delays.  We are still learning what his delays are, but they have narrowed it down to three areas--cognitive, communication, and adaptive skills.  I would love to talk to other moms who are in the same boat as I am.  =D

Welcome Chelsea,

Wow you have your hands busy with two little boys.  I am the mother of one active two year old with global delays.  When he was first assessed at 13 months his issues were receptive/expressive speech, self help skills, play skills and gross motor skills.  He has been in EI for a year now and has really improved.

I really look forward to hearing all about Riley.
