Cherishing the funny moments :)

Yesterday I took Tim to our local zoo. When we were leaving he saw the food court and wanted to stop for a snack. I told him that I had brought a snack that he have in the car. He asked me what the snack was and I told him it was a surprise.
This is our conversation at the car:
Tim: what is the snack?
Me: a granola bar
Tim: how many granola bars did you have?
Me: one
Tim: but I don't want to share!
Me: that's ok I don't want one
Tim: oh, good

We then talked about sharing:) As I was driving home I was struck by how much progres he has made. Last year we would never have had this type of discusion. Just realizing that made me cry.

I sometimes get caught up on how far he has to go that I don't enjoy the progres he is making.

 Aww I love it!!  It brings tears to my eyes just to think of it lol!  How wonderful to be able to have that little conversation!  I know this is just one of many more to come.  :)  So nice that you are able to take a moment to step back and cherish the small things too!
