floating by
with the swim instructor
moving his arms
learning to go under water
he doesn't choke when he comes up to much anymore. But he goes underwater with his mouth open everytime!!! I have some gray hair now. lol

what age is a good age to start a special needs toddler in swiming lessons

Willy was 6yrs old. Most classes here in Mississippi you have to be at least 5 or 6 yrs old before they take ya. regardless of being special or typical. you may be able to find some mommy and me swim classes around you that teaches swimming
