Hello i have a little girl that has DD and she has been struggling to talk since she started saying ba ba. Born in 2000 now Shes 11 and her speech is still a little off. The schools are a good help but when i explain to the doctors they look at me like nothing wrong but i know different i have been going thru this with her for years.. The audiologist say she has fluid in her ears and the doc give her antibiotics., Thats all they keep doing. IM please with the school but not the doc they wont even send her to a specialist is it something IM not doing.. I ask questions and i suggest things to the doc but i DONT think IM being heard. BTW being on Medicaid has its downfalls..

i would see about getting a second opinion from another doc. im not sure how that works with medicaid but maybe u could find out and take her to another doc. its not anything that ur doing, ur doing what u are and can as a mom. it sounds like its the doc that has the problem, they arent taking the time to listen to u and to really help. seems like they just want to do the very least so they can get paid, i would definately see about taking her to another doc.
