Woo-hoo!!!  Springtime has finally arrived!  If you're like me, spring fever has been eating at you for about a month or so now.  Some sun-shiny warmer weather and beautifully blooming flowers are certainly welcome around here!  welcome spring.gif

So now it is time to post the spring-summertime goals for our children.  These goals are for the months of March - September.  Feel free to carry over the Fall-Winter goals if you need to (like we do!)

And don't forget to stop in here to update us whenever a goal is reached or is getting close!

Let's start posting and supporting!

1.  Cooperate for getting in the Kidwalk we are getting.  Robby has had many traumatic moments in his current equipment, it is inappropriate and we are getting new equipment....my goal is for Robby to cooperate while being put in it.  He FREAKED while we put him in the Pacer...but once he was in it he was fine.

2.  Robby wil have a vocab of 500ish words (currently at 350is).

I will come up with more!!!!

1.) Willy hold his own cup while drinking (we currently got a new ot so he sees her on tues 14 for an eval so hopefully we can get working more on this goal, he has been without an outside ot for 2 yrs not enough pediatric ots in my area)

2.) to be totally done potty training before school starts for 09-10 school year(he is using the potty quite regularly now and we use 45 diapers less than we did in jan.

3.) tolerate and walk in his kidwalk once we get it. I am extremely impatient on waiting for it. he seems to tolerate all the current loaner gait trainers but still throws a little fit when placed in them. Once in it he is fine and trys to take off before i finish strapping him in.

4.)To talk more on a regular basis weather it be signing or verbal. Although he has added a 10 new words. And his speech goals on his progress note went from 2s to 3+!(no progress-to little progress.

5,) TO feed himself more. He is able to get the food to his mouth just not in it.lol

I am hoping to get Lillian walking by summer! She has some physical delays. I also hope to get her speaking in 2-3 word sentences by fall..

I'm Wrae. I have three kids.. Cameron (4), Julian (2) and Lillian ( 1 year). I work full time as an addictions counselor and love it. I am 26 years old. I am biracial. I did not breast feed, used disposable diapers, vaccinated all three kids, do not co-sleep ,and my house is never clean. I am from Kentucky and love it, but I am not a stereotypical Kentuckian.

Okay, so we got the Kidwalk yesterday, and I am making new goals related to it...told you I would change my mind more than once on this one!!!

Robby will be able to indpendently get into the Kidwalk.

Robby will be able to do the Hokey Pokey in the Kidwalk.  (think abuot all of what that includes, forwards, backwards, weight bearing on each leg, and "turn yourself around")

We FINALLY got his kidwalk! Wrong color and seat but that is being taken care of. And i don't have to turn in this one in til i get the right one. I am adding a goal on here.

Willy will walk in the kidwalk with his braces and shoes on.

Molly's main PT goal will be to walk unassisted. We will set other new goals next week. Her ST goals are to say at least 5 words with meaning behind them and to get her tongue loosened up (she can't move it side to side right now).
