We have lots of work to do, but are focusing on these three things at this time;

smile Jerry's goals:

1. Learn to eat with a fork/spoon

2. Learn to scribble

3. Learn to do simple shape sorter (circle, triangle, square)

James ate the summer.  He is eating everything else...why not that too????

Let's see....goals for the fall/winter...

Robby will transfer out of the wheelchair/Kidwalk appropriately.  Not the current "dive" technique he is currently using.

Robby will only use the word "no" appropriately.  Currently...that is the answer to EVERYTHING......"uh uh no tommorow."

Okay so here we are at the end of December.  Our progress:

1. Not much with the use of fork and spoon, although I am able to spoon feed him most of the time, he is very stubborn with this one.  He just will not hold on to that spoon!!  Continuing this..

2. He has been doing better with the scribbling.  We have been taping a large piece of paper to the table so that it doesn't move and hand over hand helping him scribble with a crayon.  He seems to enjoy watching the result of this.  I can let go after a minute or two and he will continue with a circular motion for a short time.  :)  Also continuing this..

3. I bought a board puzzle online with large knobs that he can hold onto.  It has 9 colorful, chunky shapes.  He really likes carrying the Ziploc full of shapes around and shaking them while laughing, but we have managed to get him to put a couple shapes in the puzzle by himself, although he whines while doing it lol.  Apparently this puzzle does not qualify as "fun" for Jerry.  :)  also continuing..

So this is our update!  Progress is being made, slowly but surely, and I am very excited about each little step!!

I look forward to reading all updates!

Willy has told me the word go when he actually has to go potty only a couple of times.

Willy is still working on holding his own cup and he can hold it when empty but not when anything is in it.

he actually made this one. He will talk to some drs and therapist but not all of them

He can point to his some of the letters at the approiate time when u sing the abc song.
