I need some ideas of Christmas and birthday gifts for 10 year old soccer nut. He has allot of soccer clothes and balls? I am trying to find something unique.
I live in Europe and I to have an (older) son that is into soccer. I don't know if you'll find these where you live, but one year we got him customizable shin guard sleeves (like the top of a sock, goes over the shin guards). We were able to find a site that allowed you to select the color and add a name and number on the 'sleeve.' In Europe, they are known as TibTops. Both he and his friend loved those.
Similarly, if you son doesn't already use them, there are shoe bands called Sweet Spots - a large (about 2 inches wide) rubber band you put around the shoes, over the laces, that help keep the laces in place, and makes it easier to control the ball.
You probably already have jerseys and stuff, but it makes it really nice when they are customized. My husband (the coach) also likes the US National team jerseys.
Other items that I have bought over the year are a soccer pillow, soccer rug, soccer games for PS, etc.
Am I to old fashioned?
