good books for boys who love ( but have already read all of ) Percy Jackson series?
My 9 year old son is into the Hunter Brown series. Right now, there's only 2 books in the series. But he LOVES them. I've read the 1st one and LOVED it. Couldn't wait for the 2nd one to arrive. Just want to forewarn you: Hunter Brown is a Christian book series.
He's also reading the Harry Potter series.
Amazon.com has a wonderful feature. You have to register (no purchase necessary) and then you can rate books that you/your son have read. Then it gives recommendations based on your ratings. Everyone in my family has their own log in name and it has been a great way for us to find books.
Both of my boys read the Percy Jackson books and loved them, but they rarely overlap in things they like!
My oldest (who is 12 now) has also read and very much liked the Harry Potter series. His favorite series have been the Series of Unfortunate Events books, the Pendragon books and The Mysterious Benedict Society with it's sequels.
The youngest (who is 10 now) is absolutely enamored with the Ranger's Apprentice series and the Animorphs books. He also really liked the series that includes "How to Train Your Dragon" (they are making a movie of this one too!) and the series about Measle and the Dragodon.
We are a house of heavy readers - lol. Hope that helps some :)

My son flew through all of the Percy Jackson books and LOVED them. He has read the Gregor the Overlander series (5 books in all), The Fire Thief trilogy, The Night Tourist and its sequel, The City of Ember, but I understand the second book is work to get through even though it is necessary to the rest of the series. He just finished reading Tunnels and is now looking for the sequel. I would also recommend The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Time Traveler series by Linda Buckley-Archer.
I hope this helps!
