So my DH gave my 11 yr old SD a cell phone for her bday back in October. I usually check her phone just to make sure no one is sending her any inappropriate text messages. Well I was looking in her pics and she took a picture of her butt. My DH is going to talk to her when he gets home but I'm trying to figure out why she would do that......Unless she deleted her sent messages she didn't send the pic to anyone...thank god. But I don't know...I'm freaked out.
Girl you should see my 16 yr old nieces myspace it is bad and her grandparents use to monitor her ( they have custody ) but they dont' no more. It pisses me and her uncle off. No one seems to care about her pics. I am glad you all are doing something about it. I think it is a girl teen thing. Remind her that she can get charged for sending nudity through text messages...

If she didnt send it-which is were my concern would lie (if my child had a phone), but if she didnt send it I would just talk about how immature that was-because that is what it was doing silly pre-teen things. I guess with hearing all the kids at our school in the age group many are just trying to push the envelope to see how they are and what type of group of friends they would fit into.

Yikes!! I'm always afraid of stuff like that. My 12-year-old has recently started texting girls and I always check his phone to make sure none of it is inappropriate. It's a scary thing! Good luck to you and your husband! Hope your SD didn't send that picture to anyone. Young girls should never degrade themselves like that.
