Hi! I am a new member to this group and just wanted to say HI to all you other moms! I am the mother of a 10 (almost 11) yr old daughter, a 12 yr old step-son and 9 yr old step-daughter. I am very thankful that there are groups like this that discuss real problems w/real tweens facing all kinds of issues....Life is real and I believe that Moms should be real with thier tweens. This is one of the most confusing times for kids with changing bodies, peer pressure, and every other issue that comes up. They aren't babies anymore (even tho they will be our babies forever), and I just wanna say I am glad I will have other moms w/similar situations for advice and if not advice, support!

Welcome to the group! I have an 11 almost 12 yr old daughter. It certainly is a trying time for them and us as well. I LOVE this group and have gotten a lot of good advice and support. Again, welcome aboard :)
