Summer it is whatever I decide...

School is strict. We eat, shower, homework at the same time everyday.

Summer is pretty willy nilly around our home.

School. they know I stick to a routine with little room for changes.

We aren't big on routines. As long as whatever needs to get done is done in a reasonable amount of time I give them the leeway to organize it their own way.  They do fine.

quiet When they were in elementary school I had a great bedtime routine for them, they would take their showers and then they would take turns different nights among the 5 of them choosing a story and I would read that story to all of them, then I would tuck them in their beds and they would EACH get to choose one song they wanted me to sing to them specifically (my mom teased me and called it the kids bedtime concert bc I had to sing 5 songs haha) Then I blessed them all and kissed them. I did that since they were babies until they outgrew it.
