Do any of your kids play sports? My son plays basketball and loves it.
Both of ours play soccer, our son runs cross country and our daughter plays volleyball. They have tried other sports but these are the ones that they really enjoy the most.
did karate a few years ago. Would like to get him back into it.
We have 2 boys and they both play football, basketball, and baseball. Baseball is definitely a family favorite, but each season has something special to look forward to. We live in the country so they don't have any friends within walking distance. Sports are a way to keep them busy and it gives them time wiht their friends.
My son loves basketball and excels at it, andhe's pretty athletic. While I think BB is his favorite sport, he basically plays whatever's in season. By March, he will move on to baseball until late July (if his District team goes far), then he'll play recreational football (backyard kind) until basketball in November. He used to play soccer in the fall, but he's aged out of organized play and doesn't want to join a travel team.
My ds is a figure skater and does dance. We're hoping he's the next Charlie White. He's being taught by the same coach that Charlie & Meryl had when they were young. Now we're just looking for a dance partner.
