He watches the news and talk about them at school so when he has questions or sees something like 9/11 we talk about what it means and how it impacts our lives. It's just like any other conversation we have. I felt bad though bc he was at his dad's on 9/11 and they didn't let him watch any of the coverage or talk to him about the significance of the day. They talked about it yesterday in school and that was the first he heard about it. If I would have known that I would have spent time with him on Sunday evening telling him about it. He's almost 11 and he needs to know about the significance of certain days.
